The Branch Manager has broad, overall responsibility for the business unit within the larger organization.
The Branch Manager serves as the top manager for the location and has the ultimate responsibility to provide ongoing status reports on the performance of his/her unit.
The daily responsibilities fit within three categories:
strategy, operations, and financials.
The primary responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:
Strategy - defined as implementing and overseeing the corporate business strategies within your unit and reporting back to upper management the ongoing compliance metrics set forth.
Work with corporate officers and management to ensure implementation of the strategy designed to grow the business through sales, parts, service, and rental activities Incorporate the company's Mission and Vision Statements into daily activities Engage with corporate officers in broader organizational strategic planning Coordinate the development of key performance goals for functions of direct reports Communicate strategy and results to the unit's employees Oversee key hiring and talent development programs Regularly report back ongoing performance and key results to corporate officers Operations - defined as both site management and the overall daily functions of managing a dealership location and generating revenue, culminating in invoicing customers for wholegoods, parts, services, and rentals.
Oversee daily operations of the business unit Monitor building conditions and presentation Monitor the safety, cleanliness, and environment status of interior and exterior areas, such as offices, conference rooms, parking lots and outdoor spaces Cultivate a positive, engaged team of employees Ensure the overall delivery and quality of the store's offerings to customers Manage inventory control to include receiving, transfers, delivery, and post-sale documentation requirements such as titling and warranty Demonstrate fluency in the operations of all departments (sales, parts, service and rental) in order to provide leadership, mentorship and cover for any staff during their absence Work closely with manufacture representatives for sales and product support Utilize the accounting system (RIMSS) and CRM (Salesforce) to perform daily tasks Engage in key or targeted customer activities to maximize customer satisfaction Identify and assist in community events and outreach Financials - defined by the proposition that every location is its own profit center which requires an understanding of the balance between revenue and expenses to maximize profit for the location.
Demonstrate competency in reading the location's P&L statement, as well as leveraging other financial reports to evaluate and strategize key investments in equipment, infrastructure, and talent Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas by territory; and projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products Ensure the development and education of employees to pursue targeted goals and objectives Engage in monthly and/or quarterly reporting with the CFO and executive management to evaluate the current fiscal health and efficiencies of the unit Skills/Requirements:
