is looking for an experienced Bookkeeper for immediate hire! We are a small civil construction company located in Monroe with an immediate opening for Bookkeeper/Office Admin.
We are looking for someone with an all in attitude, a great work ethic and an aptitude for problem solving.
This is a full-time position with flexible working hours.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Bookkeeping and Finance Manage AP/AR Process weekly payroll via direct deposit includes set up all new hires (union and non-union) Prepare and report all tax filings in a timely manner Apply for and renew business licenses as needed Maintain and research insurance policies for renewal and best yearly rates/coverages Work with tax preparer and provide requested information File, maintain and submit certified payrolls for public works projects.
Setup new vendor and subcontractor in accounting system Prepare and submit all project billings (work with PM's) Computer, printers and office management Order and maintain office supplies as needed Other office/admin duties as needed
Qualifications:
Complete knowledge of Quickbooks Microsoft Suite 365 (Outlook, MS Word, MS Excel) Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Detailed and organized Problem solving and follow-through Civil Construction a definite plus but not required Must be dependable with reliable transportation Strong time management skills with the ability to work independently and without oversite Job Type:
Full-time Pay:
$70,000.
